The sister of Los Angeles Clippers star forward Kawhi Leonard has been charged with robbing and murdering an 84-year-old woman, according to reports.

Kimesha Monae Williams, Leonard’s sister, is accused of killing Afaf Anis Assad, 84, last Saturday in a Temecula, Calif., casino, according to The Press-Enterprise.

Williams, 35, and her pal Candace Tai Townsel, 39, allegedly followed Assad into a bathroom at the Pechanga Resort Casino, where they bashed her head in and stole her purse containing $800–$1,200, the outlet reported. Williams was arrested on Sept. 3, and Assad died Sept. 4.

Williams’ aunt Denise Woodard confirmed Williams is Leonard’s sister, but tried to distance him from the incident.

“He didn’t have anything to do with this,” Woodard told the paper.

Williams is being held without bail at Indio Correction Facility, the outlet reported.

Investigators requested she be held because they were concerned her “well off’ family would post her bail — and that she’d skip town or hurt someone.

“I am requesting NO BAIL to assure Williams’ appearance in court and to keep innocent victims safe,” a Riverside County sheriff’s investigator filed a written request to a judge that didn’t mention any particular relatives by name, according to the Press-Enterprise.

Leonard — a two-time MVP and NBA Defensive Player of the Year — signed a three-year, $103 million contract with the Clippers in July. The 28-year-old has not been charged in connection to the slaying, the Press-Enterprise noted.

Williams and Townsel are expected to be arraigned Sept. 19.
