'Doomsday Mom' movie to debut this summer on Lifetime
REXBURG, Idaho (CBS2) — The yet-to-be-finished story of Lori Vallow Daybell is coming to cable.
Lifetime says it will be producing "Doomsday Mom," which it says is based on the true story of Lori Vallow Daybell.
"As investigators learned of Lori and her husband Chad Daybell’s involvement in a doomsday-prepper group, a trail of mystery was revealed spanning five states and numerous questionable deaths, before the bodies of JJ and Tylee were found in the backyard of Chad’s home in June 2020," the network says in its description.
Lauren Lee Smith will be portraying Lori while Marc Blucas will portray Chad Daybell. Linda Purl and Patrick Duffy also star.
Chad and Lori are being held on $1 million bonds for concealing and conspiracy to alter evidence related to the bodies of JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan being found on Chad's property in Salem.
The movie debuts Saturday, June 26.
